Hey folks,
When I am not leading Guided Canoe Tours I work as a Park Ranger. This season (May - October) I will be with the National Park Service in Utah and Colorado. My role is (not surprisingly) river related.
The river office at Dinosaur National Monument protects and controls access to the Green River and the Yampa river. Both of these are important tributaries to the Colorado river, the largest river system in the west. Both the Green and The Yampa boast amazing scenery, remote wilderness, and class III & IV whitewater rivers
Here is the view right out of my back yard. If you want to see more amazing pics of this park, fell free to check out my Instagram page
Ok, I hope everyone has a great season and ill see you all in November when i start back with the guided canoe tours. All the trips are four days and three nights on a spectacular river. Sleeping under the stars, eating great meals, and meeting amazing people. All the tours are fully outfitted with all gear, equipment, food, and me as your guide :)
As always if you have questions or ideas about the trips shoot me a message here w the contact form or on Instagram @bd_markey
Hope to see you on the river,
