My season as a Park Ranger in Oregon is coming to a close next week. I have had a wonderful time out here. What an awesome area full of stunning scenery.
My fellow Park Rangers were professional, fun, and dedicated. It was great to work with such dedicated public servants and all around good people. Each of us had different backgrounds and professional experiences that led us to this field.
My annual ranger season is normally a full six months sometime between April and November. However a very very late start date would have me working into early December to reach a full six. Guided Canoe Tours .com has tours starting Thanksgiving day. So I will be leaving Oregon a few weeks early. Still, it was a wonderful time!
Looking forward to the cross country drive back to Louisiana. I will be visiting a few friends along the way.
