What Do We Eat Out There?

Three great meals are provided while on the river. Each guest will get a turn to prepare an evening meal with the guides. This is your chance to become familiar with camp cooking equipment and techniques.

Dinner 1:

  • Side salads to start

  • Mac & cheese with pulled pork & sweet peas

  • Side of broccoli 

Dinner 2: 

  • Side salads to start

  • Coconut curry rice ​

  • Topped with grilled chicken, red peppers, roasted cashews 

Dinner 3:

  • Side salads to start

  • Sautéed sausage, peppers, & onions on a roll with

  • Side of mashed potatoes

  • Side of Asparagus Side salads to start

Breakfast:

  • Coffee, half & half, sugar, French vanilla flavoring

  • Orange juice

  • Oatmeal, with raisin, cranberries, almonds, walnuts, sun flower seeds, honey

  • Breakfast sausage

  • Scrambled eggs

  • Biscuits

 

  • Morning snack: 

  • Lemonade & Sweet Tea

  • Peanut butter with carrots and celery.

  • honey roasted peanuts

  • trail mix

  • beef jerky 

 

Lunch:

  • Grilled burritos with cheese, been, rice, onion, peppers 

  • Whole wheat bread

  • Ham and turkey

  • Pepper jack and cheddar cheese

  • Mayo and mustard

  • Sliced onions

  • Tomato soup on cold days

 

Appetizers:

  • Grapes, meat and cheese plate

  • Chips and salsa
